When asked about the possibility of breaking Alan Shearer's all-time Premier League record of 260 goals, Haaland jokingly replied, "Not to sound arrogant, but which one?"
Haaland was then asked specifically about his goal tally of 52 goals for Manchester City in the 2022/23 season, which included a record 36 Premier League goals.
However, he emphasized that he is more focused on the team's performance than individual records, saying, "I can't think about records I can break. That's the last thing I think of. I try to help the team win football games. That's my job and that's my main focus."
Haaland also mentioned that he has been working on his heading ability and believes he can always improve as a player.
Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola has praised Haaland's humility and leadership skills, saying, "He wants to score goals, but I have the feeling he always wants what is best for the team."
Haaland also spoke about his personal life, saying that he is still the same person he was before becoming a professional footballer, but with more experience and maturity.
