Former French footballer Tony Vairelles has expressed his surprise at the comments made by Barcelona's Lamine Yamal. Yamal made a joke during a live stream, stating that Real Madrid "steal" in the King's League. Vairelles believes that the club should have addressed the issue. Vairelles appeared on a podcast hosted by Jerome Rothen, saying, "It's not shocking, but it's displeasing. You have to adapt to the times, but what surprises me is that the club lets him make these comments. It seems like no one is holding him accountable, and he's still being paid by the club." Vairelles thinks that if he were in a leadership position at the club, he would take action to prevent such comments or impose a fine.

Vairelles' comments suggest that he believes the club is not doing enough to manage Yamal's behavior. He thinks that this lack of intervention creates an impression that "anything is possible" at the club.
