"I had other options, but I immediately told my agent that I wanted to join Fenerbahce. I wanted to be part of a team that fights to win and strive for the championship," he said.
"I knew about Fenerbahce's importance. It's one of the biggest clubs in Turkey. Working with Coach José Mourinho, a well-respected figure in football, also influenced my decision.
"Yes, I had alternatives, but I only wanted Fenerbahce. I aim to win, and I believe I've made the right choice," Semedo added.
Semedo has signed a contract with Fenerbahce that will keep him at the club until 2027.
