“I'm loving life right now,” he gushed. “The team's doing great, but we can't get complacent. We've got to stay focused and avoid any slip-ups. It's a tight race, and we can't afford to drop points.”

Gomes, who's been a revelation this season, admits he's feeling on top of the world. “This is the best time of my life, both personally and professionally. Everything's falling into place, and I'm just grateful to be here.”

But he's not getting ahead of himself. “We've got to take it game by game. One week you're on top, the next you're not. That's football. As long as we keep playing with passion and helping the team, that's all that matters.”
