Conceicao stated during a press conference that despite his team's recent successes, including winning the Supercoppa and their first Serie A game against Cagliari, he has been subject to criticism and rumors about his tenure.
“Since I joined the team, even after winning the Supercoppa and our first Serie A match, people started talking about potential replacements for me as coach of Milan,” Conceicao said.
“As someone with 40 years of experience, it can be challenging to see the lack of respect from others who don't understand the demands of being a coach. Those I work with are exposed to these stories, which makes it difficult for us to maintain stability.
“My focus is on preparing the team for the next game, against Inter, and doing our best to reach the final and win the trophy. It's been a while since Milan achieved this feat, and it's a goal we're working towards."
