Cash acknowledged that it might seem counterintuitive that Emery would be less demanding when the team is losing, but suggested that this approach might be a deliberate tactic to reduce pressure on the players.
However, when the team starts to perform well and moves into the top spots in the league, Emery becomes even more demanding, pushing the team to achieve even more.
Cash also revealed that Emery's approach to the league table is to focus on consistency in the first half of the season, and then reassess their position after 30 games.
